A new faith community has officially opened its doors in Montreal with a fresh vision and a deep purpose. EGLISE EXPLORATION is not “just another church” – it is a French-speaking, multicultural community where people can discover God as an adventure and live out His values in everyday life.
The story
The story of Exploration began years before its launch. In 2016, a powerful encounter with Congolese refugees in Nova Scotia ignited a passion to serve immigrants and those seeking hope. This passion grew through ministry in Haiti and missions across Canada. By 2019, Janet and John Kristensen from the Apostolic Church in Canada confirmed the call to plant a church that would be different – one not based on routine programs, but on real transformation.
After much prayer, planning, and navigating the challenges of the pandemic, this dream became reality in Montreal in 2023.
What Makes Exploration Different?
From day one, Eglise Exploration set out with a clear mission:
- To help people discover their identity and purpose through the Bible.
- To build a culture of generosity, love, honor, and equality.
- To provide a safe place for people tired of routine religion to encounter God in an authentic way.
Exploration Church empowers men and women to grow in their faith and to impact their community with hope and love. Church It is a home for immigrants, locals, and anyone longing for something deeper than tradition.
